Once upon a time...

Ameé

...I met a country boy.

And he had a little backyard wedding venue business he had been trying to start on his rural property in Snohomish County, Washington. Well, after several years of owning my own successful manufacturing company and looking for a change of pace, I took over the struggling venue business to see what I could do with it.  Turns out, a lot! I could do a lot!

In under two years, I took "unknown" to "award-winning." And the next thing you know, we have a fun, thriving six-figure business. But it wasn't until after purchasing a farm just a mile down the road and turning it into another hugely popular rural wedding destination in only a year, that I realized that I had developed a pretty good formula for this type of home-based business. And other people saw it too.

As a result of that success, I was constantly being asked about my secrets.  So, in addition to coaching other wedding industry pros and would-be venue owners, I decided to write and publish a small book in 2016, telling people how to start their own rural wedding venue business on their property. That turned into even more coaching clients all around the country.

Now, working in weddings means we are all looking for a "...and they lived happily ever after" ending but that's not how my story goes. Instead, I was given a life-changing choice in 2017 and I chose greener pastures of a different sort. So today, I no longer own and run wedding venues. But of course, I have with me all of my business experience I brought to the venues plus everything I learned while doing them to share with you.

Today, as I have done for many years, I keep helping entrepreneurs build an empire at their kitchen table. And since my professional experience also includes being an inventor, maker, and more, I work with other people besides wedding venue owners. So, even if you're not quite ready to start your wedding venue business today, I might be able to give you a hand somewhere else.
